Places That Matter

Overview

Places That Matter is an interactive experience where participants visit and discuss sites of historic and cultural significance on St. Croix.

Format

Each Places That Matter follows a similar format: We assemble at the site. Following a brief overview of the history of the property by a knowledgeable guide, the hike takes us to ruins and points of interest on the property.  The historic interpretation and hike usually take from 60 to 90 minutes. Refreshments of local fruit drinks, wine, cheese and assorted breads and crackers round out the afternoon.
