The underlying aim of the St. Croix Landmarks Society’s Education Programs for youth and adults is to facilitate the development of a sense of Self, Place and Responsibility.

We recognize the importance of knowing who we are and understanding the values that guided our ancestors; recognizing where we fit in our families, the community and the world; and embracing our responsibility to those who came before us and to those who will follow.

Thus, all of our programs are designed as positive intergenerational experiences.  The Society works to conserve and teach the customs, values, and traditional practices that represent the contributions of the diverse people who created the unique culture of St. Croix.
